Jet Parts Engineering Announces Leadership Transition: John Benscheidt named President, Anu Goel to Chairman
Seattle, WA – Jet Parts Engineering (JPE), a recognized leader in the development of PMA parts, DER repairs, and MRO services for commercial aircraft, today announced a leadership transition effective immediately. John Benscheidt has been named President, assuming full responsibility for day-to-day operations across the JPE portfolio. Anu Goel, JPE’s founder and longtime CEO, will transition to the role of Chairman, focusing exclusively on M&A strategy. Both will report to TransDigm Group leadership.
John Benscheidt – President
Benscheidt assumes full responsibility for all day-to-day operations across the JPE portfolio. A member of the JPE leadership team since 2008, he has built deep expertise across engineering, sales, and operations over nearly two decades with the company. Since 2022, he has led JPE’s PMA business and the group’s commercial performance, driving strong organic growth, playing an instrumental role in the due diligence and integration of five acquisitions, and supporting the preparation and successful sale of JPE to TransDigm.
Prior to joining JPE in a senior leadership capacity, Benscheidt held leadership positions in the commercial aerospace MRO sector and began his career in automotive safety engineering and manufacturing. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho and an MBA with a concentration in Change Leadership from City University of Seattle.
“John has been a driving force behind JPE’s growth for several years,” said Anu Goel, Chairman of Jet Parts Engineering. “His technical depth, commercial acumen, and track record leading complex integrations make him exactly the right person to lead this organization into its next chapter under TransDigm.”
Anu Goel – Chairman
Goel founded Jet Parts Engineering in 1994 and built the company over 32 years into one of the aviation aftermarket’s most recognized proprietary providers. He partnered with private equity in 2018 and led the business through its successful acquisition by TransDigm Group in 2026. In his new role as Chairman, Goel will focus exclusively on M&A strategy, identifying and integrating acquisitions that expand JPE’s capabilities and portfolio.
“Building JPE from the ground up over the past three decades has been the work of my career,” said Goel. “With John leading day-to-day operations, I can direct my full attention to the M&A activity that has always been central to how we grow. The foundation is strong, the team is excellent, and the opportunity ahead is significant.”
This transition reflects JPE’s continued investment in leadership depth as the company scales its integrated portfolio of PMA parts, DER repairs, and MRO services across its global network.
